Town centre drugs supplier caught thanks to CCTV

AN eagle-eyed CCTV operator helped catch an alleged drugs supplier in Warrington town centre during the early hours of this morning.

The male was seen acting suspiciously and has been arrested for an allegation of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs following a search back at Warrington Police station.

In another incident on Statham Avenue Orford, a male arrested for failing to provide a sample of breath, became aggressive during his journey to custody and after being brought under control was found to be in possession of Class B drugs.

Finally at 4.05am a male motorist was arrested on London Road, Stockton Heath for failing a breath test.

All three spent the final day of 2017 in police cells.
