Police hunt attackers who left victim with serious head injuries

DETECTIVES at Warrington have launched an appeal to help trace three men who attacked a 30-year-old man at Bewsey, leaving the victim with serious head injuries.

The attack took place a 8pm on Tuesday this week (Dec 19) when two men, aged 30 and 20, were walking across a field towards Bagot Avenue in Bewsey when the 30-year-old was assaulted by three men. Afterwards they left the scene.

The victim was hit to the head and is currently at Warrington Hospital receiving treatment for injuries believed to serious.

The men are described as being around 5ft 10 in height with one of them wearing a coat with the hood up.

Anyone who may have witnessed the assault take place or have any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 398 of 19 December.
