Funding boost brings group to Warrington

A SOCIAL enterprise providing training for people on low incomes is to use its share of a £2.2 million funding boost to move to Warrington.
Changing Lives in Cheshire, which currently operates in Winsford and supports those on lower incomes by providing opportunities for training and development, will be using their share of the money to exand into new premises in Warrington.
The organisation also works to provide financial support for those who need it by helping them access good quality furniture and electricals at a reduced cost.
The funding boost comes from Invest for Impact, launched just over 12 months ago, to support social enterprises across the North West.
Changing Lives in Cheshire is one of six organisations to benefit from the £2.2 million handout – and there is still £1.8 million to distribute.
The fund is managed by First Ark Social Investment (FASI), which is part of a social business based in the Liverpool City Region and funded by the Big Lottery Fund and Big Society Capital.
