Light up Christmas with a Lantern walk

Put your best foot forward and shine a light for the first ever south Warrington lantern walk.

Warrington Borough Council’s neighbourhood team, in association with Appleton Parish Council, are holding their first festive lantern walk. The walk will take place on Thursday December 14, starting at 4pm from St Mary Magdalene’s Church Hall, Dingleway (Bridge Lane), Appleton, WA4 3AW.

Bring the family along to St Mary Magdalene’s Church Hall where children can make their own lanterns before setting off on the short candlelit walk. There will also be a chance to find out information about your local area and free refreshments will be provided.

The walk will finish at Bridge Lane shops where you can enjoy a mince pie and some Christmas carol singing.
