VIDEO: FATHER Christmas has been kept busy at Warrington Market and will be in residence at his grotto in the build up to Christmas, helping raise money for charity.

The big man had a great time on Thursday evening visiting all the trader’s stalls, upstairs, downstairs and outside Warrington Retail Market to help launch the new Foodie Thirstdays, taking place every Thursday evening, with food, drink, music and entertainment until 8pm until Thursday December 21.

There was live music, mulled wine and street food available and the public had a great night. Many children attended the event and had photos taken with Santa and Mrs Claus.

Then he arrived in town to open his grotto outside the entrance to the market, teaming up with Warington Disability Partnership at their Santa Experience.

The grotto is open Monday-Saturday until 4pm right through until December 23.

warrington-worldwide caught up with Santa handing out gifts to the good children of Warrington. Check out the live broadcast above.
