Motorway hold-ups after two lorries crash

TRAFFIC piled up on the M6 near Warrington this afternoon after a crash involving two lorries.
The collision was near Junction 21a Croft, on the southbound carriageway, and traffic stretched back to Thelwall Viaduct.
Heavy Friday afternoon traffic was aggravating the situation and motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible.
At least one lane was closed.
