Three hour battle with fire at Spar shop – investigation starts

FOUR fire engines were sent to a blaze at a Spar shop at Warrington early today.
The blaze was in a store room at the shop in Warrington Road, Risley, shortly before 5am.
Fire crews from Warrington, Birchwood, Lymm and Leigh were sent to the scene.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and tackled the blaze with two hose reeljets.
Crews were at the scene for three hours and an investigation has been launched into the cause of the outbreak.
