Kitchen fire in house at Bewsey

FIRE crews were called to a house at Bewsey, Warrington, after a fire broke out in the kitchen.
The blaze was in Higham Avenue and firefighters from Warrington and Stockton Heath wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
All the occupants were accounted for and no injuries were reported. Crews were at the scene for 50 minutes.
