Autumn is busy time at Bents Garden & Home

AUTUMN  has well and truly arrived and whilst it might bring cooler weather and longer nights it’s also the season for some festive fun and fearsome frights in Bents Garden & Home’s event calendar.

Today, Wednesday, October 11,  marks the start of the festive season at Bents. Once again, the team has been hard at work behind the scenes to create something very special and all will be unveiled at 2pm, when the Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Les Morgan will join Matthew Bent for the official opening of this year’s Christmas wonderland.

Everyone visiting today will be presented with a free raffle ticket to win a luxury hamper, which will be drawn at the opening event.

Once Christmas is underway, attention turns to half term and Halloween. Children can enjoy pumpkin painting activities (£6) from Wednesday 25th – Saturday 28th October, from 9 – 11am when they will be able to create a truly unique pumpkin using paints and glitter.

Half term might be over when Halloween actually arrives, but Bents knows how important it is to look the part so after-school face painting will be in store on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st to transform the little ones into scary little monsters ready for their trick and treating.

Bonfire Night is next in the diary. Using paints and some secret arty techniques children are invited to create an explosion of colour to rival the biggest firework displays in town. The firework painting activities will be taking place between 9 – 11m on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November with tickets on sale at £4.

There’s lots going on over the next few weeks as well as a choice of dining destinations, outdoor play area, indoor beach and Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf*, there’s every opportunity to enjoy the Autumn season at Bents.

(*Open weekends, weather dependent.)
