Strong winds weather warning for Warrington

0

THE Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds which could impact Warrington from 21:00hrs tonight (Wed Oct 4) to 09:00hrs tomorrow.

The strongest gusts are likely over, and to the east of high ground. Gusts of 40-50 mph are expected, with localised gusts of up to 60 mph.

Driving conditions (especially for high-sided vehicles) will be hazardous. There may be some flying debris, along with branches down, and perhaps even some whole trees. As a result, journey times may be affected, and power interruptions are possible.
