THE annual Regimental Sunday takes place at Warrington tomorrow, with a parade along Church Street for a special service at St Elphin’s Parish Church.
Church Street will be closed to traffic between Manchester Road and Farrell Street between 9.30am and 1pm
The event has taken place annual for more than 65 years and involves the local infantry regiment and around 20 civic parties from other towns across the historic county of Lancashire.
An alternative route will be available for through traffic, via Church Street, A49 Fennell Street and Brick Street, the A57 Manchester Road, and vice versa.
