POLICE at Warrington have issued a warning to the public after a forged Scottish £20 note was passed in a local shop.
The note was discovered in a shop in Stockton Heath yesterday.
A police spokesman said people should be on their guard and check any notes they were given carefully.
Police should be contacted on 101 if forged notes are discovered.

How do you check if one is legit or fake as I wouldn’t have a clue re Scottish notes.
Are there any pointers or tell tale signs for the fakes ?
