MEMBERS of Lymm Library’s Read to Relax group received a special visit from some furry friends.
The four-legged pooches visited the group to join in with their reading of Miranda Hart’s book, Peggy and Me.
The latest release from the popular comedian provides a hilarious and heart-warming memoir about her life changing relationship with her inimitable and loveable dog, Peggy.
The group won the books from the Reading Agency, along with a selection of treats so they could host a doggy party.
Peggy and Me is just one of a wide selection of books that the Read to Relax group have read.
Groups meet weekly at Lymm, Orford and Penketh libraries to read, have a cup of tea and chat through their latest novel, short story or poem, in a relaxed and social setting.
Staff from LiveWire’s Community Librarian Team run the groups and read to those attending. Members of the group can either read along or just sit back and listen.
