Communities United against Western Link meeting

RESIDENTS concerned over proposals for the preferred route for the Warrington Western Link Road are being urged to attend a public meeting this Friday, September 15.

With consultation now closed and an announcement by Warrington Borough Council imminent as to which will be their preferred route, a further meeting for residents affected by, or concerned about the new road has been arranged by Communities United Against The Warrington Western Link – the group set up by the various groups opposing the six different options.

The meeting will be held at Eagle Sports Club, Thornton Road, Gt Sankey WA5 2SZ on Friday, September 15 starting at 8pm.
