Firefighters tackle house blaze

THREE fire crews tackled a blaze at a semi-detached property on Walton Heath Road, Warrington, which was well alight.

The incident took place at 12.55 yesterday (Saturday) at a semi detached house on Walton Heath Road, Warrington.

On arrival crews found the house was well alight and the crew, two wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets and a covering jet to put out the fire.

No one was in the building at the time of the incident. Crews were in attendance at the scene for approximately one hour and 20 minutes.
