AN allotment building fire at Chapel Lane, Rixton-with-Glazebrook, Warrington, earlier today spread to trees before beign brought under control by firefighters.
One fire engine attended from Birchwood to tackle the fire at 09.21 this morning.
On arrival crews found that the fire had spread to adjacent trees. They used two hose reel jets to put out the fire and also used a thermal imaging camera to check that it hadn’t spread any further.
