Two arrested after large scale fight in Warrington town centre

TWO men have been arrested following a large scale fight in Warrington town centre during the early hours of this morning.

The incident took place at At 0430 this morning when officers moved in to deal with a large fight on Bridge Street.

The two males  under arrest – including the original male identified as the alleged victim who allegedly took it on himself to assault the male who was already in police custody.

One male is also under arrest for allegedly spitting on a police officer.
