Police appeal after arson attack at Callands

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after arsonists struck in Tenby Close, Callands, Warrington.
The fire involved a wheelie bin and firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish it.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
In another incident, fire crews went to Rudloe Court, Padgate, Warrigton, where an abandoned sofa was found ablaze outside a property.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire and there was no damage to the building.
