Have a say on Warrington’s blueprint for the next 20 years

TIME is running out for people who want to have a say on developments in Warrington up to the year 2037.
They need to get involved in the borough council’s local plan consultation exercise
Council leader Cllr Terry O’Neill, said: “Our Local Plan is hugely important because of the central role it will play in guiding our growth and development over the next two decades. That’s why it’s vital that local people have their say.”
People can get involved by visiting warrington.gov.uk and typing “Local Plan” into the search box. There, they can complete an on-line consultation form, get more information and see a
full list of all of the sites submitted for consideration by developers.
In addition a series of consultation events are being held across the borough.
They are on the following dates at the following locations:
Wednesday August 2 – Village Hotel, 3pm to 8pm
Wednesday August 9– Birchwood Leisure Centre, 3pm to 8pm
Monday August 14 – Penketh High School, 3pm to 8pm
Thursday August 17 – Culcheth Library, 3pm to 8pm
Tuesday August 22 – Lymm Village Hall, 3pm to 8pm
Thursday September 7 – Pyramid Centre , 3pm to 8pm
