TWO men were arrested at Warrington in the early hours of this morning after a police operation involving the force helicopter and officers on the ground.
The men – aged 26 and 28 and understood to be from the Liverpool area – are alleged to have been targeting home and cars in the Great Sankey area.
A third man is still being sought
Police went to the area after receiving a 999 call from a member of the public who had seen three men acting suspiciously around 3am.
It is believed two burglaries are alleged to have taken place, in Worsborough Avenue and Winchester Avenue.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Great Sankey area this morning is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 87 of July 28.
