MORE ales than ever before are premised when the seventh annual Lymm Beer Festival takes place on Friday and Saturday, September 8-9 at the village hall.
The charity event run by Lymm and District Round Table will offer more than 35 cask ales, plus a selection of ciders, perrys and wine.
Following on from last year’s tremendous success the Gin Palace will be back, offering an even wider selection of gins.
There will also be food and live music throughout both days, and free soft drinks for non-drinkers. The entry fee is £5 (discounts for CAMRA members). And will include a “Lymm Beer Fest” pint glass created specifically for the event. All cask ales and ciders are priced at £2.50 a pint.
The Round Table is also seeking organisations to be the main sponsor and also sponsor a cask for £80 for which their names will appear in the programme, at the event and on the festival’s Twitter and Facebook feeds. Sponsors will also receive four tickets and £20 of beer tokens.
Beer festival organiser Mike Lavelle said: “We’re really pleased with the wide selection of ales on offer this year – there should be something for everyone, especially with the fantastic Gin Palace. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the weather again as there’s nothing better than sipping a tasty ale in the September sun whilst enjoying some live music.”
