Warrington South MP Faisal Rashid opens new office

WARRINGTON South MP Faisal Rashid opened his new constituency office and warrington-worldwide was there “live” with a through the key hole tour of the premises.

The town’s former Mayor, who stood down to contest and win the Warrington South seat, held an special open day, to promote his new office which is close to the heart of the town on Wilson Patten Street, where he looks forward to welcoming constituents and helping them deal with issues.

He says he has already been inundated with emails and assures constituents he will deal with them as quickly as he can.

Major concerns including the number of new properties proposed for the South of the borough in the Local Plan, including 9,000 on Green Belt land.

Another major concern is the tolls motorists are facing on the new Mersey Gateway Bridge and the existing Runcorn Bridge.

  1. I was pleased when Faisal Rashid was elected as like a lot of people I thought change was needed. I voted, not for him personally but for Jeremy Corbyn’s fairer and more people friendly policies. I did however hope that we might get an MP to support the interests of residents.
    Mr Rashid saying “I totally understand where council is coming from, that we need more houses”, and “maximise the brownfield sites…’first’…”, suggests he is a supporter of the mass expansion madness.
    Less of a ‘refreshing change’ and more of a ‘same old, same old’ ?

  2. And it’s been deleted, Clearly censorship is rife with GS and our new MP but people are already talking and will take note about him.

    Disgraceful.
