AS a mark of respect to near neighbours Culcheth Eagles, following the tragic death of Adam Cooper, during a match at Runcorn, Latchford Albion have taken the decision not to publish a full report on their weekend matches.
Instead they have issued only the results and scorers. Latchford Albion defeated Heysham Atoms 34-22. Albion try scorers were Luke Hickman (2), Joe Clarke, Damian Lyon, Adam Wadsworth and Chris Griffiths. Goals: George Briggs (3).
Latchford Alliance lost to De La Salle 22-42.
Latchford try scorers were Joe Oakes (2), Tom Duncan and Phil O’Brien. Goals: Chris Johnson (3).
All players, coaches and committee members at Latchford Albion have sent their sincerest condolences to the family of Adam Cooper and all at Culcheth Eagles RLFC.
