Warrington BSL Signing Choir have been invited to sign five hymns on the BBC’s “Songs of Praise” programme.
The choir, who have previously signed with major international music artists to raise deaf awareness, will travel to Christ Church, Port Sunlight, to record the hymns on Friday, 23rd June.
Jeanette Hughes, PR officer for the choir, said: “We are so happy to be taking part. We adore signing hymns. The words are so moving and a few tears have been shed in rehearsals.
“The five hymns that are being filmed will be placed into five “Songs of Praise” programmes, which is wonderful for deaf awareness.”
