Warrington Stands Together with Manchester

WARRINGTON people stood together during a special event at Tetley Walkers Club to show their support for victims of the Manchester bombing atrocity.

Organised by local residents Zoe Evans and Susan Crank, local artists, celebrities and community minded people joined together to show solidarity and unity and to help raise over £1.5k for the families affected by the recent terror attack which claimed 22 innocent lives and injured many more.

A timed silence was observed at 13:22pm followed by live music, family fun, entertainment and performances from a variety of talents, compared by local comedian Charlie Hale, with some special guests too including local pop artist Max Vickers from the Voice, Warrington Wolves’ Bennie Westwood and stars of yesteryear Andy Gregory and Des Drummond.

Warrington’s new Mayor Les Morgan was also on hand to lend his support.

A timed silence was be held and impeccably observed at 13:22pm followed by live music, family fun, entertainment and performances from a variety of talents (with some special guests too!)
Local photographer Paul Jackson, was was covering the event for warrington-worldwide said: “It was great fun for the whole family, showing that our communities cannot be intimidated or silenced, and will fight their terror with love and music!”
