MAJOR road works are to start on Sankey Way, Warrington on Monday, June 5 and are expected to last for six weeks.
The essential structural maintenance work will be carried out to resurface Sankey Way from Liverpool Road to the roundabout at Penketh Road and Whittle Avenue, Towards Tankersley Grove.
Work will take place in four phases, all between 7pm and midnight to minimise disruption to traffic.
But roads may be kept closed until 1am to allow concrete to set or asphant to cool.
All roads will be kept fully open to traffic outside these hours.
But motorists are advised that some delays may occur and that they should use alternative routes if possible.
