Wheelie bin set on fire against wall of house

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire involving a wheelie bin which is believed to have been deliberately placed against a house wall in Bewsey, Warrington.

A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) at the property in Cartwright Street.

Anyone with any information about this or similar incidents is urged to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or Cheshire Police on 101. Arson costs lives.

  1. since when was Cartwright Street in Bewsey? Bewsey starts after the railway bridge in Lovely Lane. Cartwright Street is in Whitecross.
