Town centre streets closed after two-car crash

POLICE have closed a number of streets in Warrington town centre following a two car crash on Bridge Street.
Academy Way, Friars Gate and Barbauld Street have all been closed.
Fire and rescue crews went to Bridge Street to help deal with the incident.
A woman, trapped in one of the cars, was released by firefighters.
A construction crew working on town centre improvements off Bridge Street assisted fire crews to move one vehicle to allow the trapped woman to be released.
Police are advising drivers to try and avoid the area.
