The Warrington Campus of the University of Chester is opening its doors to potential future students next month.

On Thursday, June 15, from 5pm to 7pm, prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students will be able to take a tour around the Warrington Campus, gaining an academic overview of departments and faculties, as well as viewing the accommodation and other facilities.

Visitors to the Campus at the Open Evening are able to attend the informal drop-in sessions at any time during the event. There will be a range of activities, including taster sessions, the opportunity to speak to members of the academic staff, get advice from current students and visit the advice and guidance desks (which will include information about accommodation, careers, finance, and Student Support and Guidance).

Mark Hoddell, marketing and recruitment co-ordinator at the university, said: “Warrington is a university town with a Campus that specialises in delivering innovative and employment-focused courses in business, education, media, nursing, policing, social work and sport.

“This Open Evening is a useful starting point for prospective students to research their options. They will be able to have one-to-one chats with academic staff and take the opportunity to explore the academic facilities and student accommodation.

“With countless opportunities for you to mould and shape your education to suit your career goals, the Warrington Campus of the University of Chester gives you the freedom and support to develop yourself into a distinctive and highly employable graduate.”
