Take the kids to see the kids at Walton Hall zoo!

THREE new arrivals are causing a bit of a stir at the children’s zoo at Warrington’s Walton Hall and Garden.

The three baby African pygmy goats were born to mums Rose and Ellie – and dad is Mr Bumble.

Children of all ages are being welcomed to see the animals – young and old – at the zoo and are being invited to name the baby goats.

There are also some new-born rabbits and baby squirrels.

For a video of the goats kidding around see:  https://www.facebook.com/pg/warringtonbc/videos

The zoo is open from 10.30am to 5pm daily.

Zoo keeper Peter Cookson-Dean is pictured with a work experience student and the baby goats.

  1. We took our 1 year old grandson to Walton Hall Gardens yesterday and he had a whale of a time, Zoo, play area, Thomas the Tank Engine and an ice cream.

  2. Wonderful place! and we are so lucky to still have it.
Crazy to think that one of the main instigators of the attempted sell-off to a hotel group is the Lib Dem candidate for South Warrington MP!
He may pick up votes in Lymm – where the Lib Dem’s protect their seats by doing nothing controversial but over this side we don’t have short or selective memories.
