Small motorist had golf club and crow bar for self defence

A MOTORIST found in possession of a broken golf club and crowbar claimed he had them for self defence because he was “small.”

The male driver was stopped by police on Froghall Lane, Warrington.

Officers discovered a broken golf club and crow bar in the vehicle and arrested the driver on suspicion of possessing offensive weapons.

When questioned he said he had the items “for self defence because I am small!”
