FIREFIGHTERS responded to a report of a house fire on The Crescent at Lymm, Warrington, caused by a tumble dryer.
When they arrived at the scene yesterday evening, crews found that there was smoke coming from a tumble dryer. This was removed from the property. Special fans were used to clear the smoke.
In incidents last night Firefighters used a water back pack to put out a tree fire off Admirals Road, Birchwood, Warrington, and a bonfire on Station Road, Padgate, where a hose reel jet was used to put out the flames.
