AN 18-year-old man from Warrington has been arrested by police investigating the theft of three high-value cars in the town on Monday.
A Jaguar has been seized by officers and is awaiting forensic examination.
The man has been interviewed and released on bail while enquiries continue.
Police have been investigating the thefts all week.
Burglars broke into a property on Ridgebourne Close, Callands, on two separate occasions over the Bank Holiday weekend.
They stole a Porsche Boxster, a white Lexus and a white Jaguar.
At the time, police said the thefts had taken place in the early hours of the morning with the offenders returning to the scene of the crime on more than one occasion.
They appealed for assistance from anyone who had seen anything suspicious in the area – in particular anyone who had seen the white Lexus being driven at speed around Bewsey Lodge School in the early hours of morning.
