Walk in the Park success

1

MORE than 100 people took part in Warrington Disability Partnership’s annual Walk in the Park.

Mayor of Warrington Faisal Rashid launched the event at the Centre for Independent Living on Beaufort Street.

As well as a 5k walk around Sankey Valley Park, there was a family fun day, wheelchair basketball, tombola, BBQ and much more.

Those taking part in the walk paid a £5 registration fee and were able to raise funds for their charity of choice.

  1. Well done! Warrington Disability Partnership and everyone who took part in the walk.
This organisation does so much to improve the lives of those with disabilities.
If WBC are intent on spending money to promote culture then the ‘caring culture’ of this organisation should be rewarded by being given some funding.
