Firefighters tackle blaze at Bears Paw Inn

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a fire at The Bears Paw Country Inn and Restaurant at High Legh near Lymm earlier today.

The crews used two hose reel jets to bring the fire under control at the premises on Warrington Road, while a high pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the building.

There were no casualties. An investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out.
