Walton Hall – for a perfect wedding day

WARRINGTON’S showpiece Walton Hall is preparing for its Spring Wedding Fair – on Sunday, April 23.

The occasion is a great opportunity for couples to get some inspiration to help them plan their perfect wedding day.

Walton Hall will be open to view and consider as a venue for the big day – and it is licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies.
The Walton Hall team will be there to answer questions and couples can take a tour of the hall and grounds – where there are two outdoor wedding areas.

The gardens will be blooming with spring flowers as a backdrop for those memorable wedding pictures.

Local suppliers, including venue dressers, cake makers, photographers and florists, will be exhibiting in the hall, offering plenty of ideas to help  make it an ideal day.

Cllr Tony Higgins, the borough council’s lead member for culture, leisure and community, said: “We are extremely lucky to have such a treasure as Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington. The majestic hall offers gilded ceilings, oak panelling and a grand staircase and is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, making it an ideal setting for the most spectacular wedding photos.

“If you’re thinking of getting married I encourage you to attend the fair. It’s a great opportunity to view the hall and to talk to local suppliers who offer expert advice and can help you to plan your special day.”

The Wedding Fair will be open from 12 noon until 4pm, with a bridal show at 2pm. Admission is free and all guests will receive a complementary drink on arrival. Parking is available on the public car park.
