Lymm mother in finals for “antenatal teacher of the year”

A 35-year-old Lymm mother has won through to the last five for the Antenatal Teacher of the Year in the national MaMa Awards.
Charlotte Collins, who has a three-year-old son, Joseph, is a single mum running her own business and has been teaching antenatal classes since 2014.
She has also trained in meditation, mindfulness and life coaching.
After working for eight years as a cabin crew member, Charlotte trained as a teacher and worked for four years at Warrington Collegiate teaching aviation before becoming pregnant.
She said: “I was lucky enough to have an amazing and peaceful natural birth thanks to attending great antenatal classes during my pregnancy and I feel really blessed to be helping mummies relax and enjoy pregnancy while giving them the best chance to have the birth that they want.”
Charlotte also enjoys yoga and travel .
The finals of the MaMa awards are in Scotland on April 28 – and Charlotte has already to treat herself and Joseph to a trip to Disneyland for making the finals!
The awards final will take place at the seventh annual MaMa conference.
