PLANS for 20 new homes on land at the rear of the Harrison Centre,  Boulting Avenue, Bewsey have been given the green light by Warrington planning bosses.
The affordable homes are to be built for housing association Helena Partnerships and will all be two-bedroom, two storey houses similar to others recently granted planning consent on adjacent land.
Members of the borough’s development management committee were told the scheme was being put forward by Helena Partnerships in partnership with the council, who own the site – part of which was a former school playing field.
The council will transfer the freehold to the housing association who will own and manage the properties on completion.
