FOUR creative Year 8 students at Warrington’s Boteler CE High School were interviewed by Channel 4 news after winning a Cheshire Crimebeat competition.
The four – Emily Higham, Ruby Boswell, Eva Connolly and Leah Fisher – had to write a radio advert on the theme of “sexting”.
They were filmed at school and the footage was used as part of a wider news item on child sexual exploitation and sexting.
A school spokesperson said: “It was an exciting morning at the school, especially for the four students who were amazing and very professional in front of the camera.”
The item was broadcast on Channel 4 news.
