Man arrested after row with parking warden

A MAN was arrested at Warrington today after an incident in Barbauld Street involving police and a traffic enforcement officer.
The man was arrested on allegations of assault and obstructing a police officer after an officer was trying to obtain details from a woman who was allegedly verbally abusing the traffic enforcement officer.
The woman was reported for summons and the man is awaiting questioning in custody.
