Householder threatened with knife at Lymm

POLICE today appealed for witnesses of an aggravated burglary at Lymm in which a householder was threatened with a knife.

The incident was at a house in Moston Grove shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday, March 9.

Three men are believed to have entered the house, two of them confronting the occupant – one brandishing a knife. The third man stayed in the hallway.

All three left after stealing a small amount of money, making off towards Newfield Road.

One of the men is described as being around 6ft in height, aged around 25, with a long gaunt face and mousy brown hair. He was wearing a blue hoody and blue surgical gloves.

The second man had brown eyes and brown skin. His clothing was black and white including black gloves and he had his face covered. The victim didn’t get a description of the third man.

The knife is described as silver, with a 2-3 inch blade that had a pattern cut out.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 974 of  March 9.
