Nominations sought for Rotary club’s top award

LYMM Rotary Club is again seeking nominations for its annual Cyril Bell Award.

The Award is made in recognition of outstanding service by an individual to the community of Lymm or Thelwall, either as an individual or member of a deserving group. It is made only if a suitable nomination can be found. Previous winners are ineligible.

Nominations must be received by May 15.

The Award will be made at the Rotary Club’s Ladies evening at Statham Lodge Hotel on Wednesday, June 14.
The “Cyril Bell Memorial” trophy is held for one year, a personal certificate will be presented to the successful nominee, together with a cheque for £500 made out in favour of their chosen charity.

Last year’s winner was Town Crier Peter Powell.
