ESSENTIAL road works taking place in Lymm village centre have resulted in a road closure today, (Friday).

Essential resurfacing works are being carried out to The Cross A6144 from the canal bridge to Rectory Lane tomorrow between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Due to the extent of the works it will be necessary to close this section of road to through traffic, however a fully signed diversion will be in place. Access to the village will be via Rectory Lane and Eagle Brow.

Network Warrington are aware of the closure and will divert buses accordingly.
