TWO women have been arrested in Warrington on suspicion of stealing purses following a co-ordinated operation involving police in plain clothes.
The woman, aged 22 and 22, both from North London, have been charged with seven counts of theft in Warrington and five in Birmingham.
Police mounted the plain clothes patrols after a number of thefts involving elderly shoppers was reported.
The two women are due to appear in court tomorrow.
