POLICE at Warrington have appealed to motorists to leave parked vehicles locked and secure after a rash of thefts and attempted thefts during the night.
The thieves struck in Coronation Avenue, Culcheth, Heather Close, Birchwood, Kingsland Grange, Birchwood, Park Avenue, Latchford, Cabul Close, Howley, Whitethorn Avenue, Great Sankey and Spires Gardens, Winwick.
There were also incidents in Garner Street, Orford and Roeburn Way, Penketh, where the offenders fled after being disturbed.
