A WOMAN driver was left badly shaken iin Warrington this afternoon after her car was involved in a hit-and-run collision.
The incident was in Wilderspool Causeway, at about 1.25pm when the car above, which was travelling towards Stockton Heath, was struck by a light coloured car pulling out of the nearby Esso garage.
As a result of the collision, the woman’s car was sent careering into the wall of St John’s United Reform Church, demolishing a section of the wall.
The driver of the other vehicle did not stop, leaving the woman driver very shaken.
Police are appealing for witnesses – particularly anyone with dashboard or head cam footage.
