TOWN Hall chiefs would like to hear more comments from the public on the final design for the Centre Park Link scheme – the ambitious project that will put a new bridge over the Mersey.
There is still time to view the plans for the scheme, which involves building a new bridge across the river connecting Chester Road to the town centre via Slutchers Lane.
The council has undertaken two stages of consultation, the first an outline of the scheme and the second giving people the opportunity to comment on more detailed proposals.
The scheme has now been amended to take account of the feedback received through the previous rounds of consultation and the council would like to hear any views on the final design before construction starts in the Autumn.
