Grill pan starts kitchen fire

FIRE engines from Warrington were called to a kitchen fire last night.
The blaze was at a property in St Peter’s Way and involved a grill pan on a cooker. It was out by the time crews reached the scene but firefighters used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property.
There were no reports of casualties.
