Alleged thieves “caught in the act” by plain clothes officers

TWO thieves were arrested in Warrington last night after being “caught in the act” by plain-clothes detectives.
CID officers witnessed a theft in progress from a Co-op store in Orford Lane and were able to apprehend the alleged offenders.
In another incident, two men were arrested in the Ireland Street area of the town on an allegation of attempted burglary.
