Vandals start fire at Orford

CHESHIRE Fire Service appealed for help from the public after vandals started a fire at Orford, Warrington, last night.
The blaze involved refuse on land at Bittern Close, off Grasmere Avenue and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
A fire service spokesperson said: “Arson costs lives. It is believed this fire was started deliberately and if anyone has information about it they should contact police on 101 or call the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.”
